CHOOSING YOUR METHOD

PURCHASE CURRICULUM


Find your own curriculum to use to teach your students. There are many different ones to choose from and you can easily pick and choose from different ones to create your own custom package.


Select history from one and math from another. Freedom is yours to choose which style will be best for your child and family.


Price Range: 250.00 - 850.00+

LOCAL SCHOOL


Many local schools offer a home schooling option, often where the child must meet with the teacher once a week. The work is given weekly for the child to complete.



Call your local school to see if they offer this option. Most offer a complimentary laptop for the child to use.

CHARTER SCHOOL


There are many charter schools available that offer in class room studies as well as independent study. They tend to focus or specialize in a certain area.

CURRICULUM PACKAGES

Packages contain a teacher’s guide book that outlines the lesson plan everyday and worksheets needed to complete the work. They have all inclusive packages that provide the books and other manipulatives.

Packages can be customized and offer selections based off of subject, allowing you to build your own package. They offer art, foreign language and even instrument instruction.

On the right is a Kindergarten package from My Father’s World. As you see they offer 2 options to help make it affordable for all families.

Record Book

About the Book

Setefano Studies aims to help homeschooling parents / guardians by alleviating the stress caused by

state required record keeping. We take a simple approach to help keep you organized with records and

provide an area to keep track of each child’s progress.

Included in this book is also a planner which includes a monthly calendar and daily calendar to keep your schedule organized and events planned.

Student Records

Each book has enough for 4 children- track all necessary information, including courses taken and overall grades. In this record book there is also a page for monthly progress updates and a quarterly report card for each child.

Regular School Schedule

MIMICS PUBLIC SCHOOL

  • Study time is straight
  • Study is done Mon - Fri
  • Follow regular breaks like spring, summer vacation

Year Round

SCHOOLING SPREAD OUT

  • School curriculum spread throughout the entire year
  • More time for pauses inbetween
  • Helpful if your family travels a lot
  • Great for first time homeschoolers


4 Days On 3 Days Off

LONG WEEKENDS

  • Shorter school week- great if you can fit more in one day
  • Most curriculum packages offer 4 day option
  • Pick any 4 days to school; MTWF

3 Weeks On 1 Week Off

MONTHLY BREAK

  • Every month allows for a break in school
  • Gives time to set up for next month
  • Some children thrive having a break in study

Remember home schooling provides freedom, schedules should be what best fits your family!

When is your child more responsive?


Use meals and errands to provide a break between different subjects


Do physical activity before work sheets / reading


Have them color while they listen to the story


Schedule messy arts and crafts before bath

Try different routines and see what is best for your child.

Remember to first check local and state laws on requirements for your area
